Rainbow moonstone is one of the feldspar minerals that is valued for its milky white color with iridescent rainbow-colored flashes. Composed of sodium and potassium aluminosilicate, it refers to a type of Labradorite. Actual moonstones show either light diffraction, the schiller effect, or adularescence.
